Welcome to The Loft! We’re excited to introduce (or reintroduce) you to our restaurant in North Andover, Massachusetts. That’s what this blog will be all about, really. At The Loft, we aspire to be more than just a steakhouse (though we’re happy to claim that label!). The Atmosphere of a Local Landmark
Even if you’ve never visited The Loft, there’s a good chance you’ve seen us while driving through North Andover. We’re hard to miss, being housed in a 200-year-old barn. Is it haunted? Some of us think so, and you’ll have to visit us to decide for yourself. If there are ghosts, we’re happy to have them as part of the atmosphere. Whether or not you think unseen guests contribute to the atmosphere, there’s no denying that the vibe contributes to our restaurant’s appeal. The converted barn creates a welcoming atmosphere with a rustic charm.
A Menu with Just Enough Choices
Comfort food means something a little different to everyone. We think that our menu has just enough choices to hit everyone’s comfort food sweet spot. We have everything from mac & cheese to chicken pot pie to pot roast to burgers. But we don’t settle for the basics. Take our mac & cheese, for instance. We’re the home of the Original Lobster Mac & Cheese. If you’re more of a barbecue fan, there’s Short Rib Mac & Cheese. Can’t decide? We combine them, too. And that’s just what we do with mac & cheese. Think of what we can do with the rest of our menu!
More Than Just the Food
Although we’re pretty confident that the food is enough to convince you to pay us a visit (or two or three), that’s not all we have to offer. We have two bars—one on each level—and a dedicated event space. To liven things up, we also have live music on Friday nights. Our regular rotation of local talent is the perfect accompaniment to great food and drinks in the company of good friends.
